Deleting Areas
If you no longer need an area, you can delete it. You can delete a single area, or you can delete multiple areas in bulk.
Select Areas. The Areas panel opens.
Do one of the following, depending on how many areas you want to delete.
Delete a Single AreaNext to the area you want to delete, select the menu
, then select Delete Area.
Delete Multiple AreasSelect the areas you want to delete. The number of selected areas displays at the top of the Areas panel.
In this example, there are two areas selected.
Select the With Selected menu
, then select Delete Selected.
A confirmation dialog asks you if you want to delete the area(s). To delete the area(s), select Delete Area. Otherwise, select Cancel.
Deleting an area is permanent. You cannot recover a deleted area; if you want to use a deleted area again, you will need to recreate it.
More About Deleting Areas
When editing an area, to remove a completed—but unsaved—shape from the viewport, on the toolbar, select Remove Shape. Draw a new area or select Cancel.
