Zooming and Panning

When you first log in to MGP Pro, the full globe appears. You can zoom and pan to manually explore the map.

  • Scroll using your mouse wheel

  • Select Zoom In zoom in or Zoom Out zoom out

  • Double-click the map to zoom in one level

  • On your keyboard, select SHIFT, then click and drag your mouse (top left to bottom right) to draw a zoom window

A small legend at the bottom of the viewport shows the current zoom level. A scale bar adjusts as you zoom in and out.

  • Imagery displays at zoom level 11 and higher.

  • Maximum zoom level is 20.

Some activations are restricted from viewing imagery at specific zoom levels. If you would like to know more, please contact support@maxar.com.

  • Viewport To pan the map, click and drag your mouse in the viewport.

  • Minimap In the minimap, select the highlighted box, then click and drag within the minimap to pan to a different location.
