Hub 1.11

Capabilities

The following capabilities are part of Hub version 1.11:

WorldView 2D Tasking

We’re excited to announce significant updates to our Commercial Tasking product. These changes will streamline your experience and improve service predictability.

See WorldView 2D Tasking.

Enhancements

The following enhancements have been added in version 1.11:

Map Pins from Coordinate Search

You can now add map pins by searching for a location. When you search for a location using its coordinates, a map pin is automatically added to that location.

See Dropping Map Pins.

MBTile (SQL Lite) Format for Vivid Mosaics Ordering

Users with permission can now select MBTile (SQL Lite) as an output file format for Vivid Mosaics orders. If you have this permission, you can select between MBTile (SQL Lite) format and GeoTiff (default). If you do not have access to MBTile format, you will not see the Output File Format option in the Vivid Mosaics ordering panel; your orders will be output as GeoTiff by default.

See Ordering Vivid Mosaic Products.

Monitors Displayed for Object Detection Orders

If an object detection order is created by a monitor, the monitor name and area name now display in both the notification emails and the order information for that order.

See Viewing Order Information.

Stereo Pairs Convergence Angle

You can now view a stereo pair's minimum and maximum convergence angles in the images' metadata. It is also available as a field when viewing the imagery in list view.

See Imagery Types and Using Card View and List View.

Upcoming Changes

Please be aware of the following upcoming changes:

  • ArcMap Add-in Deprecation ESRI will be retiring the ArcMap application on March 1, 2026. At that time Vantor will also retire the ArcMap Vantor Hub Add-in. No further updates will be made to the Add-in. Documentation and the download link will also be removed on that date.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) We are introducing a mandatory security enhancement to protect your data effectively: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be enforced starting in March 2026. This update is a crucial step to bolster our platform's overall cybersecurity defenses and safeguard your sensitive information from unauthorized access. n conjunction with secure MFA procedures, phasing out the usage of shared accounts is necessary for effective security. API key lifetimes will remain unchanged at this time.

  • Vantor URL Changes As part of Vantor's rebranding, in 2026 we'll be updating our API base URLs and other platform components to reflect our new name and product names. By March 2026, we’ll share a detailed migration guide and timeline. We’ll provide a 90-day window for migration where both the old and new API paths will be available to provide a smooth migration.

  • Web Coverage Service (WCS) Deprecation We are retiring Hub WCS effective March 1, 2026. The more powerful Hub Archive Ordering can be used to order larger AOIs, offering more formats (incl. NITF).
