WorldView 3D Tasking

You can now task WorldView 3D imagery. With WorldView 3D tasking, you can task Vantor's on-demand suite of three-dimensional surface mesh, elevation, and true ortho products that correspond to specific collection dates. WorldView 3D leverages photogrammetric stereo collections that are correlated and enhanced by Vantor’s global Vivid Terrain 3D Surface Model.

Interface Simplification Updates

Several updates have been made that simplify the Hub user interface. These updates streamline workflows and group similar functionality into more logical interface areas.

The following changes have been made:

• Apps Drawer The Apps menu is now located in the upper-right corner of the interface. Select the Apps drawer to access other apps, such as the admin UI, the Launchpad, and more.

• Basemaps You can now select basemap options from the Overview Map option on the minimap. The Basemaps tab has been removed from the left-side navigation.

• Information Bar A new information bar at the bottom of the interface includes information on your current zoom level, elevation, coordinates, selected basemap, and more.

• Map Heading The map compass feature has been renamed Map Heading, and it is now located at the bottom-right side of the interface.

• Show/Hide UI Shortcut You can now show and hide the interface using the period [ . ] key on your keyboard.

• User Profile The user profile menu has moved to the upper-right corner of the interface. Select your avatar to access language settings, the Show/Hide UI command, API key generation, the Hub Online Help, and more.

• Workbench The Workbench consolidates map interaction tools (e.g., annotations, area creation, measurement) into a single, organized location. The Workbench groups related tools and simplifies hierarchy. Your last-used tool remains active until you turn it off.

Please be aware of the following upcoming changes:

• Account Admin Usage Tab Orders and Usage analytics dashboards have been upgraded, while the Usage Dashboard (Kibana) was removed.

• Account Services (Admin) v1 API Deprecated on February 12, 2026. End of life on May 13, 2026; migrate to Account Services v2 (see https://developers.vantor.com/).

• Google Maps Basemap Google Maps is the new default basemap in Hub. Users can choose alternatives, such as OSM or Terracolor.

• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) MFA will be mandatory for all users starting July 2026. This security enhancement protects your data and strengthens overall platform integrity. As part of this transition, shared accounts will be phased out. API key lifetimes will remain unchanged at this time.

• Output_config Delivery Format in Ordering API Deprecated on February 12, 2026; end of life on May 13, 2026; switch to output_configs delivery format.

• Usage Service v1 API Deprecated on February 12, 2026; end of life on May 13, 2026; migrate to Usage Service v2 (see https://developers.vantor.com/).

• Vantor URL Changes As part of Vantor's rebranding, in 2026 we'll be updating our API base URLs and other platform components to reflect our new name and product names. A detailed migration guide and timeline will be shared. A 90-day transition window will ensure both legacy and updated API paths remain available during migration.
